Meet Rocky, a tiny Yorkshire Terrier saved from disturbing conditions. Now he has a new life with people that love him.
Recently, Lennox Animal Hospital received a call: a little yorkie really needed grooming. He had mats all over his body, and one of his legs was tightly wrapped in a thick layer of fur. His face was also covered with hair, so he could hardly see.
When the groomer took a closer look at Rocky, it was obvious that he not only needed a haircut and a bath. After all the excess hair was cut and the doctor examined Rocky’s leg, he had to make some stitches: the hair had cut through the skin!
Thanks to the proper medical attention and thorough grooming, Rocky is now unrecognizable. The picture below shows how Rocky gets his transformation. From frightened, dirty and matted to one fluffy, happy and healthy pup.
